The couple introduced themselves as husband and wife, checked into a hotel in Kasol on March 10, stayed for six days, and left on March 16. Their driver accompanied them, said hotel operator Aman Kumar on Saturday.
New details have emerged in the murder of Saurabh Rajput in Meerut, India, with his family alleging that the accused wife's parents knew about the crime beforehand. The deceased's daughter reportedly said 'Papa is in the drum,' indicating her knowledge of the murder. The accused wife, Muskan Rastogi, and her lover Sahil Shukla, confessed to stabbing Saurabh to death and hiding his body in a drum sealed with cement. Her father even called for death penalty for Muskan Rastogi and her lover Sahil who allegedly stabbed Saurabh Rajput to death, cut up his body and sealed the remains in a drum filled with cement.
"The initial plan was to dispose of the body parts in a secluded location, but the duo eventually decided to keep it inside a large blue drum, filling it with cement and sand," said SP Singh.
